If you're not into scrapbooks then that's alright, there are lots of other ways to display your favorite memories. Some of these are geared more towards younger children while some are meant for adults. One thing that all of them have in common though, they all make great gifts.

Photo Calendars

These calendars are great because they allow you to display a few photos each month. When I give these as gifts I like to match my photos with what is going on that month. I like to include photos of people who have birthdays that month, as well as photos of any holidays or special occasions. The calendar portion can also be custom made. Decorations and embellishments can be used to make birthdays, anniversaries, and other special occasions stand out. The great thing about these calendars is that after the month is over, the page can be torn out and inserted into an album for and instant scrapbook.

Recipe Card Albums

These make great bridal shower gifts. When planning a bridal shower ask all family members and friends to send you a photo of themselves along with their favorite recipe. These photos and recipes will then be created into a one of a kind keepsake album recipe book for the new couple.

Words of Wisdom Album

The words of wisdom album is very similar to the recipe card album. They make great gifts for bridal showers and weddings. Have each guest or family member send you a picture of themselves ahead of time. An album will then be made that includes their photo as well as a spot for journaling so they may add their words of wisdom or best wishes. Guests can then hand write their messages in on the day of the shower or wedding and the completed album can be given to the bride to be or newlyweds at the end of the evening. If you don't have photos of all the guests ahead of time consider getting a pre-made album instead. I can make a great words of wisdom album for you to record the thoughts of all your guests on that special day. Then you or your photographer can take a picture of each guest before they write in their message. When you get your photos developed simply add the photos to the corresponding message page.

ABC Books

ABC Books are a 28 page custom made scrapbook that features all of a child's favorite things. The books feature a title page that is personalized with the child's name and picture, 26 alphabet pages, and an end page. As with all other albums all paper, stickers, and other embellishments are included in price. The alphabet pages can feature pictures of the child's family members, friends, their favorite toys and games, or photos of their favorite television or movie characters.

Shadow Boxes

Shadow boxes are a great way of displaying one scrapbook page with just a few of your favorite photos. Shadow boxes are typically 12x12 but smaller sizes can sometimes be found. If you would like a smaller size page but the right size shadow box cannot be found a picture frame that matches a style of the room it will be displayed in also works. In addition to picture frames and shadow boxes children's artwork frames also work. A frame can usually be found to match any room or page theme.
